When I try to the access the mapping forum I get:

thats weird the MAP MAKERS DISCUSSION ABOUT MAPS seems to be for mappers only
can i be teh ins pls?

Shouldn't the general public have read access? I mean people who don't know things about mapping reading things that mappers say to eachother about mapping doesn't hurt anyone, it's write access that should be restricted.

I know this is kind'of a silly thing to mention... but where are newbs supposed to ask questions about how to start making maps... where are new maps supposed to be released and discussed... I don't really think we need a separate map developer forum because all the people who know how to make maps only ever post to help newbs or release maps... and that's gonna go here anyways... map makers know how to make maps and don't really need a place to discuss that fact as far as I'm concearned... tell me if I'm wrong here.
