You need to host! First take a screen, PASTE it in paint, and then host it by clicking browse and going to photobucket or something, voila!

Well I can see most of my tank, too bad it resized...

Flamers in the front, Gatlings on the sides, cannons on the large turret, almost a masterpiece I guess, hehe.

you can get ABC (advanced batch converter) as a free trial...

im curious though: what is your screenshot program? because i dont know of one that takes targa images (except battlefront 2)...

use fraps!

as a side note: it looks cool

although... make sure its balanced! everyone likes good, tactical big booms, otherwise we'd all just play AA on speedmetal... wait... ;)

how big will the scale be? made for the 30x30 maps of the new format?

You made that lego tank... your not entirely useless...
I stopped production of Lego Spring because you [SinbadEV] and I (and perhaps kixxe, early on) were the only ones who seemed interested.

Normally I wouldn't care, but I think your tank design isn't very consistent as a result of the _excessive_ detail on the mini-turrets. You've got this big blocky thing (not a bad thing) with these little perfectly smooth round turrets around the outside? I'd make them more like a pillbox design.

Well, I'm not too good on the bodies, but I don't need to worry, I have plenty of my life to waste at this time :P Oh and yea it will be tactical
An armor setting would be this

[LevOne] Takes full dam. from all weapons
[LevTwo] Takes 1/3 dam. from [LevOne]
[LevThree] Takes 1/4 dam. from [LevOne]. Takes 1/3 dam. from [Lev2]
[LevFour] Takes 1/5 dam. from [LevOne] 1/4 from [LevTwo] and 1/3 dam. from [LevThree]

[LevFive] Takes 1/6 dam. from [LevOne] 1/5 from [LevTwo] 1/4 from [LevThree] and 1/3 dam. from [LevFour]

That is how armor and weapons work

Of course more stuff on buildings and stuff, this just makes for NO RUSHING

Oh and CayDr, I think some beveling will help with the blockiness lol, it does wonders!

I really want to be careful about releasing information. Someone could steal our ideas. But if you REALLY want to know some stuff about the storyline, (yea, came up with a storyline) gameplay, or more ideas.... just PM me. As long as it's not important information, I will give it out.
NOTE: I only said storyline, gameplay, and more ideas. Well..... actually storyline is sort of important too... but I really don't think others will actually steal a storyline.

P.S. The storyline is very important to TA's reputation. I'm not even sure if I should even be coming up with this. I don't want to ruin TA. To be careful, we will need help.

Nobody is going to steal your ideas.

If you haven't noticed, there are WAY more ideas floating around in this forum than there are competent people to implement them. Nobody who is actually capable of making a mod is going to steal your ideas.

Besides which, you can always send them a cease and desist notice. That should scare them.

Alright then...... Just to tell you these are ideas. We haven't got to them yet for modding takes a while. Okay..... I'ts getting late where I am and I don't really feel like posting everything about the mod right now (I know I'm a little lazy  ).

Okay, to start it off I will tell you the name of the mod which is:

Forgotten Chronicles

I will describe storyline maybe tommorow if I get SnipaWolf's aproval. There will be 4 races (seems like a heck of alot, but I decided good mods aren't rushed and since TA Spring is capable of doing this I thought we'd try it out.) Well.... for now that's all I'm allowed to release and that's all I can say anyway for I would be too lazy to say something else due to how tired I am. (oooooooo.... got a headache too)

You've really overdone the polies on the tracks with those...

Take your time, learn wings properly. Those models are really inefficient...

Trust me, a noob moder and modeler are inexperienced in all honesty chrispin your "ideas" are probably going to be way off. However, if you stick to it you will learn and improve on those ideas. Odds are you are not coming up with anything revolutionary.

Trust me design is complicated and there are many elements even I have learned working on gundam, and I have been a part of four plus mods and wrote software for my uni. Unless you have a 30 page design doc, which I doubt, your mental concept is more then two pages. It is better for your first mod that you consider writing all of your ideas out then reading them out loud. Sometimes hearing your own words will make you realize the folly of such ideas.

Also, after you have written a good design doc do a week of research in scripting and modeling. A research and resource gathering phase is highly important. When I started gundam I had a one week research phase and I made three units the corefighter, t61 and rgm79g.

these are shots of the test models:

That looks like shit right? yeah it did, but it was a start. In a years time I completed models that were highly accurate to the art! I have worked and reworked many models.

I then implemented them and revised my design docs. Writing concepts on napkins and scraps of paper. Now, a year+ later I have completed that design doc and am expanding on it. I am now uvmapping those same models and it is exciting.

So remember that your early models will get a bad reception. It is ok, just listen to the feedback, it is ok no one is perfect. You balance may be way off, that is ok just remember to listen. If there is a very specific fiction related reasoning for something, always be ready to reconsider and above all else do consider your target audience, the players.
