well, it's not quite as simple as that...if some political party in the 'western' world was blatantly hatemongering (with evidence) then they'd be shut down...eg the good old nazzinators.Comp1337 wrote:Piratpartiet (Political party of pirates) as well? granted it's a little more fuzzy with the whole 'maybe' it's illegal to host torrents...but having a policy of promoting something illegal that is costly to a big rich (powerful) industry is going to attract some bad attention from the powers that be, even if it's a case of someone being leaned on by someone being leaned on by someone being leaned on by the american media industry.

Are you sure they wheren't on the same server as Piratebay? Sevral smaller computer companies complained that their whole service has gone thanks to the raid.

EDIT: its kinda scary also that the swedish police did this only after MPAA had talked to the whitehouse, which had talked to the swedish police. The swedish police was hesitant do do the raid before, because it didn't have LEGAL BACKING. They took down http://istheshit.net aswell..

Its not their personal PC's, its just the webservers.
