I added helper functions to CNet that make sending NETMSGs easier. I don't have commit access to the source so here you go.

When doing this sort of thing you're better off anouncing it ont he dev mailing list, doing it, then posting the enw code on the mailing list.
Posting ti here though puts you at risk on working on something and it simply not getting seen, or, working on something that has been replaced in the svn or is planned to be replaced very soon....

I actually noticed it :D but I can't acces the zip somehow 
Anyway, I don't know what is in it because I can't see it, but a patch would be preferred. In case you used TortoiseSVN to check out the source, right click on the toplevel folder in which you checked it out and choose TortoiseSVN>Create patch.
