Hosting with a Linksys WRTP54G
I cannot host with my Linksys WRTP54G. It is the Vonage enabled Linksys router with two phone ports. I went on portfowarding.com, and all they have is the info for the WR54G or something like that. Any ideas? I dont even get how to set up a static ip.

Ok... Heres some simple steps to get it working.
1) Goto your router page in Internet Explorer (if you dont know follow steps i through vi ) Then goto step 2
i) Goto start>settings>network connections
ii)double click your internet connection
iii) Click the support tab
iv) Write down the "Default Gateway"
v) Type this into internet explorer (eg. http://192.168.1.1)
vi) You are now at your router page
2) Look through the page until you find DMZ
3) Open up this option and type in your computers personal IP
4) Apply and reboot router
5) Happy Hosting!
Hope this helped. Please reply if you have problems (screenshots would help)

<sarcasm>Just remember to reinstall XP from scratch every few days to keep malware at a minimum... </sarcasm>
I think you're probably better of not hosting.
I'd say follow aw13s step 1, then look for 'Port Forwarding' and attempt to forward with the following settings:
Port 8452 (or 8452 to 8452 if it wants a range)
Protocol UDP (or "All")
IP or Destination: Your computers IP address
hth
