Running MCL in 2024

When a mechwarrior falls in battle, what does she leave to legacy?

Running MCL in 2024

Post by BobWizardLad »

Hey all,

New to Spring and this project, but me and my buddy are a big fan of BattleTech and RTS games. How would someone get this game running?

I have had some trouble getting the game running from the GitHub repo, is there a ready-to-go game file? I had read about launching from sd7/sdz files.

Even a pointer to a good setup guide would suffice..

Looks like a great project, let me know if it's not completely dead!

First you will need to identify an older version of the engine that was compatible to the last MCL release

Very tardy to this party, but MCL is now running on latest Recoil engine. The easiest way to get it was always via rapid on the lobbies (game:mcl:test) rather than the git version - really only for devving.
