I don't see what's wrong. Is it strafing too far out of range? You can set strafe range independently of weapon range if that is a problem.

Engines work strange
Re: Very O_o gunship behavior in 89
thats some smoth explosions you got there on your generators.
Re: Very O_o gunship behavior in 89
This guessing game is fun... is it the part where it's sliding sideways and then snapping to point at the target before firing rather than smoothly rotating as it moves sideways or moving in an arc around the target?
Yeah... what's wrong with YouTube?AF wrote:Warning: 55MB 1080p video

you don't see it snapping around?
Clue, watch for when the engine flames cut out.

dont worry its just inverse kinetics
Re: Very O_o gunship behavior in 89
meh, I sent forb my thoughts on it. I don't see any sort of blinking or warping with the aircraft, I need to go install 88 and 87 again to compare brawler movement between this as past versions. It'll be some time before I do that though.

Re: Very O_o gunship behavior in 89

So here is what is happening... it was actually a bit worse in 88 but got noticable in 87.
So in the above shot you see:
in the first panel
the aircraft and it is at an angle with the thrusters firing
in the second panel
the aircraft looks like it is trying to land. I am going to call it "nodding"
The aircraft IS flying but it does this sort of nod occasionally. Now this behavior has been happening for years, I just never gave a shit enough to post about it because it is a niggle to me. Now because it never effected unit performance people don't bitch. However, now not only does it nod, but it stops moving for a bit and starts to descend. This is why forb noticed it.
Extra interesting is that when it nods often it can fire a shot off target along the straight vector.
Why are the brawlers "nodding?"

unless things have changed, Forb still uses emit-sfx to fire his weapons. That's probably the reason for the shot firing off in the plane direction vector, instead of at the target.

As stated in the lobby, I only do that for redundant weapons, Like the second weapon on my vlaunch missile tank.
This unit is normal.

Tried it in other projects as well
