Problem uploading my texture map to my collaborator

Post by Soul »

This might not be the right location for this post,, generall might be better but it was when helping a new friend painting his texture map that we bumbed into this problem.

The file is f***ing huge, and takes forever to send to him, or upload to any free upload/download sites.

I'm thinking that we can hardly be the first that have made a map together and was faced by this problem.

So i was just wondering if someone had any solution to this problem, like if someone had found a good free uploading site.

Or if enough people was annoyed with this to pool up and get an paid account on an uploading site that mappers in spring could use.

Compress as HQ jpeg, DDS and tiling compression is worse anyway.

well png is prolly less than 100 mb, but yeah, highest quality jpg won't hurt you too much.
