oh hm.
what different games/maps did you try?
maybe ask in the #ca channel, the developers of springdownloader are in there. If it is a problem with the lobby they can help you maybe...

lol - they said try a forum post!
i've played several maps but only ever played balanced annihilation.
tried for a couple of days against various people but it never changed.
first i had lag issues but changed my bios settings (as its an onbaord video) and corrected the lag - now i have sync error issues. is my onboard still to blame at all - i'm not going to doubt that it coul dbe related to my current graphics setup (and yes I have all the latest drivers installed, only a few months old - not to say there could be a bug in there somewhere :p ).

Re: sync errors on winxp32
sync errors can not be caused by GFX card/driver (yeah, i know, in theory.. bla bla).
what spring are you using (post an infolog attached as file please). Self compiled? using which parameters to cmake/make?

Code: Select all
[ 38] Sync error for supasoaker in frame 1 (e5b942c3)
I think it would be worth trying to use BA712.sd7 (eg from springfiles.com), instead of the one you got through SpringDownloader.
Or maybe just try an other mod for once.

can you direct me to where the files site it - i can't find it.
I am also tempted to try lobby if this would help.

FYI the springfiles site has a search feature that usually works.
http://www.springfiles.com/show_file.php?id=2528
I also recommend you delete the folder maps/paths
