You can't try to compare different factories on opposite factions. Kbots aren't meant for charging through the front lines like tanks are(warriors being a possible exception), but even still they are more ore less balanced. You talk about how the strom is underpowered because if he misses he has a long reload - That's the POINT, every unit has very prominent advantages and disadvantages, storms are not meant to be able to stop a bunch of gators/flashes, they're for harrassing, not steamrolling everything.

In T1 each faction has damage-absorbing units, speed units, range, scouts, general purpose skirmish units, etc etc. The purpose isn't to make perfectly parallel unit categories for each faction, because that's very boring and removes a lot of the variety and choice between factions, especially in T2.


Also, you fail to mention that Core has arguably the best spam unit in the game - the AK. And no, T1 kbot is not Core's strong point, it has no scout and no tough tank unit, of which arm has both.

It matters since anybody can post their first impressions on the game and some fancy stats to back it up. But every random noobs opinion doesnt have alot to do with the reality of how the game plays.

I'll take your take on BA balance seriously when you can consistently beat me with your OP builds.

This thread is full of crap. Arm is clearly superior, because you have marky+sniper = OMFG SHIT MY UNITS R DYING, u have all terrain paralyzer and rocket bot, you have razorback, you have beamers and dragon claws (t1 lightening! wtfpwn!), flash and stumpies, panthers wich can fuck up your base OR your fighter shield (lighten zaps from ground to airplanes, amazing how arm science turns the world around!) Also arm has nuke bomber, emp bomber, emp missile, maverick which is a gangster, penetrator, and pretty much every unit is a piece of epic win cake.

I kind of liked going air and just pushing with comcapture + drones a month ago. People have figured it out though and started spamming aa. :(

Arm I think has more variety, and it's also a bit more noob friendly(not to say core is better for people who don't suck though), which is why it's played so much more than core. But core has it's pwn stuff too, morty's are a favorite of mine, and the amphibious hl bot is pretty pwn on water maps, way better than pelicans which are basically t1 units.

But yeah mavericks, snipers, and spiders = win.

Fido is a god unit but it has a very narrow role. My stats says it has 40% more experience at death than average combat unit.
Of course it's usually quite a pointless unit because fatboy and sniper are pure ownage, but it's most fun to micro.
Maybe the ON button should be high traj. and more AoE.

For stumpy/raider my stats says that stumpy have 5% more exp. at death and leweler has 30% more and janus has 15% more.

Anybody tried using the Fido/Mav with an auto-skirm widget? Perhaps it'd be more useful if it was automatically trying to stay at a safe range and whatnot.
