I have a solution. Rename the Tribulex account to asdfasdf and rename this account to Tribulex.

And dont even say this isnt possible because i know it is.

I hate to agree with him, but actually this is 100% possible and less than 60 seconds of work, you don't even have to leave the regular phpbb UI to do it. I routinely renamed my enemies' accounts when they came to my old phpbb2 forum.

Of course, he'd have to log in using that name to complain, and then I'd say I found to record of posts under his old name and frankly found his ID offensive and so I'd ban him until he changed it. Which, of course, is impossible since you can't log in while banned.

He'd re-register, which is ban evasion, so I blocked the entire continent of Australia with a redirect to a page that says "sorry because of this guy (email here) your continent is on the AA blacklist."

Sorry it took so long, I don't really do anything here any more, but I'm still able to fix stuff like this.

[edit] Moderators can't change account names or passwords, you need admin powers for it. Moderators powers are restricted to account access control and forum content modification. The last thing we need is some rouge moderator changing admin account passwords. PHPBB is quite insecure if the wrong person gets the wrong powers.
