First off get a github account and fork http://github.com/springlobby/wxmapconv via a button on the site. Then you can clone that with any git client and work/push to your own repo.
I'm really not being won over by the ease of use of GIT. When I used subversion it required one programme, so far I've got 3 and still no fucking clue how to use this. It appears to be command line? If so then it's not worth it. I hate the command line, that's the entire point of what I was coding.
I appreciate your help but it seems like GIT isn't the tool for me, it's too damn hot and I'm too damn busy to be bothered using something that belongs on unix.
I've never used any of the GUI things on win, but both git gui and tortoise should do :/
Is it just that you don't know how to work the programs or do they not work at all.
Either way if you're familiar with svn, that's perfectly fine by me. There's sf.net and google I know of that provide free hosting, or I could get you one on my box.
