I just ran tests on the latest nightly of both. They're both really fast. Chrome wins at startup speed, they both load pages very quickly, and they have comparably fast javascript engines (both are a bit faster than the other at certain javascript tasks).d_b wrote:Minefield pwns chrome in speed tests

The only time Chrome does not show a status bar is when the status bar is not being used for anything. Chrome is a great idea with a great design. It just does not suit what I do very well. My status bar gives me information. Also some sites I use require the status bar to be shows all the time as well. Who's next?
