Certain missile units, especially the Samson and Slasher, and XTA will be familiar with this one, do not fire while moving under some circumstances.
I recently read a report about XTA that said that this is when a unit is given a direct attack order, then told to move- it will not fire (unless it is being fired upon). I've never been able to reproduce this bug under controlled conditions, but now i know what it is thats going to be a big help in hunting for it.
It appears to be a script error, because maackey recently updated the crasher with a new model and in the script changes, managed to introduce this bug where it was not previously present.
Im working on tracking down the source of this one and will keep everyone posted (I know XTA will want to fix this) but if anyone has any more info on the bug that'd be helpful.

Also it starts working normally again if you give it a stop command.

Okay, so it turns out maackey didnt introduce this bug with a script change, it existed in previous versions on the crasher. It also exists on the jethro.
Colour me stumped! Any efforts i was making to hunt this bug down are completely squashed.
Either way, it only seems to happen to missile units.
