Spring 0.80.0 (Release Candidate)
Re: Spring 0.80.0 (Release Candidate)
Can you change it to C:\Games\Spring\ or whatever under Vista, so we have less problems with Vista swallowing files?
Re: Spring 0.80.0 (Release Candidate)
this shouldn't happen anymore. archive mover has been fixed and will now move files to my documents/my games/spring.

*edit wtf wrong thread*
Re: Spring 0.80.0 (Release Candidate)
good thing, but i see a lot of confusion comming up because of this.imbaczek wrote:this shouldn't happen anymore. archive mover has been fixed and will now move files to my documents/my games/spring.
it should be printed in big fat red letters everywhere...
i know it wont help much, but at least we can bitch around and tell them WE MADE IT CLEAR!

edit: i know i will hate this change, cause it will kill the last few MBs on my C drive (i have spring on an other partition). still its good.

The installer should install a shortcut to the content folder in the start menu, so that we need only refer to the menu option/shortcut

The installer doesn't know about content folders.AF wrote:The installer should install a shortcut to the content folder in the start menu, so that we need only refer to the menu option/shortcut

Archive mover isn't the only issue...imbaczek wrote:archive mover has been fixed and will now move files to my documents/my games/spring.
Speaking of which, Archive Mover still disable files if they happen to be already well placed.
Re: Spring 0.80.0 (Release Candidate)
explain both issues with more detail, please.
Re: Spring 0.80.0 (Release Candidate)
Just double click a file that is already where it should and see for yourself.

oh, you're still using 0.80.0 RC? try a more recent build.
