Can you change it to C:\Games\Spring\ or whatever under Vista, so we have less problems with Vista swallowing files?

good thing, but i see a lot of confusion comming up because of this.
it should be printed in big fat red letters everywhere...
i know it wont help much, but at least we can bitch around and tell them WE MADE IT CLEAR! ;-)

edit: i know i will hate this change, cause it will kill the last few MBs on my C drive (i have spring on an other partition). still its good. ;-)

The installer should install a shortcut to the content folder in the start menu, so that we need only refer to the menu option/shortcut

Archive mover isn't the only issue...

Speaking of which, Archive Mover still disable files if they happen to be already well placed.

Just double click a file that is already where it should and see for yourself.

Also, in before "Mantis it or I won't care": http://springrts.com/mantis/view.php?id=1564

oh, you're still using 0.80.0 RC? try a more recent build.
