Need help with Bots in Singeplayer

Post by Deutscha »

hello,

Sometimes i play BA in singleplayer with bots (e.g. AAI, KAI RAI I think). But AAI doesnt work with BA and KAI only creates ground enemies.

Which AI works perfect with Balanced Annihilation? Are there any?

Secondly, how can I change my ingame name in the singleplayer?

greetings

1) KAIK is iirc, the most popular Singleplayer AI for BA. Most of them prettymuch stick to ground units though.

2) Launch the game in the multiplayer lobby - host a game and add bots. You'll get your name used that way.

Add more bots. (You may need a lobby for that.)

For AAI all you need to do is rename one of the existing BA config files for the new version of BA.

In the "Spring\AI\AAI\cfg\mod" you will find a whole bunch of .cfg files, one of them will be called "BA_Installer Version.cfg" copy it and rename the copy to "BA691.cfg"
