Random crashes, no error.

Post by Hobo Joe »

In nearly every game I've played recently, it crashes. No error of any kind, nor anything in infolog.txt. The game just closes.

At first I thought it was caused by bots, because I had been playing a lot of games vs. bots with a friend of mine, but now it's starting to do it in all my games. It even crashed while I was watching a replay.

I've already turned of decals, so it's not that either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you turned all settings right down, and disabled all other effects and such as well just to check?

I take it you also looked in the info log?

Yeah, I've tried games with everything on low, checked infolog.

Happens in pretty much every game, with any mod as far as I can tell. Seems to happen much earlier in the game when there's bots, but it still happens without them too.

Okay have you tried running spring in terminal and checking what it says?

Nope, how would I run a game like that though? I don't know if the test scripts from the executable will repeat the crashes.

Try the libKAIK.so (or whatever other bot you use) from the terminal, and if it works perfectly, try running springlobby from the terminal.
