Space Rangers 2 expansion/patch finally available in English

Stardock recently released the English translation for Space Rangers 2: Reboot, an expansion pack/patch/ripoff/bundle-of-awesome.

If you haven't heard of it, it's a space action/adventure/trading/rpg thing. It's really an impressive game, bringing to my mind the days when games weren't suck and fail and EA and Vista.

The expansion is basically a bunch of Russian patches that were never released outside of... yes, Russia. Possibly some actually "new" features as well, but mainly just things that we should've got but never did.

Seriously the only thing I bought it for was the extra quests and improved search function. That's really all I wanted. So if anything else is improved, woo.

The problem is, it's $20. I don't know if that's really a fair price... You can buy the full game including the patch/expansion for $30.

For added giggles, Stardock's download service, Impulse, serves to remind you that Vista's interface is easy to render under XP, you trendy bandwagon jumpers.

Regardless, it's an awesome game, well-designed, and with a great sense of humour. You should buy it.
