Well it could be europa. Europa is covered with ice, making it capable of sipporting life... possible.

If the grass was ditched this map would look more realistic...

The screen shots looks very good. Also, the green spots look
more like a fugise or green slim. The map IMO it looks great ..

Ok This map is not mine :(
It was made in terragen for TA years ago by Geisthund and is called "A Tale Of Two Cities" and had a single player mission scripted for it.
If I can get hold of him and get his ok I might do something with it, as it would make a great moon map; perhaps without the green textures :?

Europa is frozen, I doubt grass would be able to exist in a sub-zero environment without substantial antifreeze and whtie colouring to prevent the moon looking green.

On another note, I thought over this a while ago. Try making the map as un-noticable as possible, then place all the units at altitudes where the map is unseen, thus giving the illusion of no map. Because the terrain cant be seen the underside showing the skybox comes through and you have glorious 360* starscape. I'm unsure wether the engine will allow you to go high enough though, maybe settings the water level in mapconv to a minus figure or something absurdly low.

Couldn't you just texture the ground a space-stars esque texture and have it completely flat without any water?

... i just had a thought. Make a good star and black, and space stuff texture, then make the map flat, exept for some astirods pocking up (but youl have to do some creative texturing to get it to work) then make the skybox that totally cool one pictured above, and set the hardness to max, whislt having the water level being the lowest as possible. Would that work?

or replace the water texture with a star texture, and make the water not see-through(if thats possible). Just an idea.

You would just need a good space/stars texture the appropriate size as stretching a smaller texture to get the map size would look very bad.
