Re: Nomic 3
I propose that the sequential ratification of any two motions generated or nominated by the same person in each case results in the addition of many, specifically twenty, points to Peet's total.
Re: Nomic 3
Generated - Nominated
Many - Twenty (Approximate)

Re: Nomic 3
Okay. I saw that but wasn't sure, being partly asleep and biased more to rhythm.
Proposal:
When a post has been made,
a valid thought for debate,
even if it has died,
no one need be afraid,
to nominate and persuade.

Re: Nomic 3
(I have no idea what the hell Lurker just said, can we mark his post as dead?)
Proposal:
Rhyme shall henceforth refer to ASCII art. Because making stuff up is just too hard.

Re: Nomic 3
paraphrasing:
When a post has been made
(a valid proposal)
even if it's dead
you can nominate it.

Re: Nomic 3

Re: Nomic 3
I can't accept the validity of that proposal, it's in direct conflict with rule 107
Re: Nomic 3
No, rule 107 does not state what "dead" means. No rule forces that a dead proposal cannot be revived.

That was the fault of my incomplete definitions table, not the rules. Fixed now.KDR_11k wrote:No, rule 107 does not state what "dead" means. No rule forces that a dead proposal cannot be revived.

Request for rules clarification:
If you are the one who submitted a winning proposal, are you considered to be "on the victor's side"?

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Sugar is Sweet,
I Propose that "When a proposal is nominated for vote, A second proposal of the nominating parties choosing may be included as part of the motion, such that the motion, should it be accepted, will bring two new rules (or two separate addendum to a current rule, or any combination thereof) into play... too."

Re: Nomic 3
I hereby propose transmogrification of rule 107.
Which obviously is not rule 11.

Re: Nomic 3
No, as per the rules you can vote against your own proposal, and it's actually beneficial for you to do so point wiseFelix the Cat wrote:Request for rules clarification:

Re: Nomic 3
A vote is in action. All proposals are now dead.
Motion 307: transmogrification of rule 107
Proposed by: KDR_11k
Any poster may vote either for or against the current motion. If the motion passes it will become a rule. A player voting for a passed motion will
receive 10 points, a player voting against a failed motion will receive 10 points. The first side to reach 4 votes wins.
