just what it says in topic, screen goes grey for a frame or two irregularly when zooming or scrolling. noruas also noticed this. no idea what triggers it as yet.

This is a very old bug, although its not as common as it used to be.

If you're lucky enough to see he gray frame you'll actually notice its not a gray frame at all, it's a picture of a unit about to be drawn with a gray background.

One good method of replicating this used to be by making an AI slow the game down while drawing virtual units. Transparent units help, and it usually happens when you click on a buildpic and the semitransparent unit is drawn.

Obviously it's a bug that you see it, but what is it in the first place? The lod image being made?

Its the unit model with no textures in block white but semi transparent. IIRC there's a screen shot in a mantis report I filed ages and ages ago.

I have this too. It just started with this new version (0.76b1). It's extremely annoying...

I have the Radeon 9600 Series. I have another PC with the Radeon X800 GPU, but I haven't tested the new Spring version on it yet.

Hoping for a fix in 0.76b2!

For me turning off the Healthbars widget fixed it.
