Black and White was TERRIBLE. I'm not sure why - I usually really like that kind of game. But I think the terrible interface in B+W broke me.

Planescape Torment
Dark Omen
Popoulus III
THIEF III
BaldursGate2
NOLF

and you can play around with Spring.

Now i think back... has somebody a Good Game, with a satisfying Ending? I mean no- to be continued, but a real Fat "the Story is over - Move on ?" One of the Reasons i don´t recomend Hl2

And B&W was okay, but didn´t held half of what it promised.. Hypergatejump out of the Advertising Agency
-> And B&W failed as a God-Game

-> Time for a Feature Request - we need the Ability to beat tanks to teach them manners. Bad Monkeylord - never again do that Ray in this Base - look at the Mess! Bad (Slap) Monkey (Slap) Lord (Slap)!

One of the things I disliked about B&W was that it wasn't a god game at all. It was "babysit the invalids who can't feed themselves without divine intervention" game. That's just idiotic... Ok, so you train your monster to feed them? Jolly good. Why the hell does YOUR MONSTER then have to babysit those invalids? Your mighty corporeal presence, and it's reduced to a packmule hauling grain from the storehouse to the altar to keep people worhipping? Come on! Who's the servant and who's the master here?

If you're a god, you should be... doing god-things... you know... ... things.... things like a god does...

Alright so come to think of it, the traditionally depicted gods are either babysitters of disobedient morons or just generally irritable. And the game makes you both. So... I should really be heaping praise on it for its immersiveness.

oh man, that's going back a long way, they turned off the official severs so you need to use hamachi (emulates lan play) or a 3rp party matching service that emulated the Lion's Heads official servers.... and it was for B&W 1, don't know about B&W 2.

New game engine due to come before the end of teh year!
Tomorrow, 5th december, it's apparantly coming. The new graphics, mostly textures, are just sickenly f***ing good... Except for motion blur and I guess effects this is pretty much sharper realtime stuff then starwars CGI... I wan't normal mapping, p occluxion, everything... now (we just need to get some model format setup for general use afaik, much is in place thanks to trepan).. tough I't will be hard to match those textures they will be an excellent source to imitate.

YYYYEESSSSSS!!!!!!! Morrowind ate my life for a few years, and I liked it :P. Oblivion doesnt feel as dynamic as Morrowind (all west-euro looking stuff for the most part as Morrowind has that and a lot more) but it's still good. Obliv seemed shorter too and the dungeons werent as fun to explore cause they're all the same but meh I enjoyed it just not as much as Morrowind....

Anyone play Joint Operations? Novalogic (delta force fame?) fps game; 120 people in massive like 50 km maps with all kinds of vehicles. It was awesome though I cant find my disk and I'm not sure if anyone still plays. The release before then was Delta Force Black Hawk down and thats still pretty fun; the map editor is about as good as Operation Flash point but I think it looks better. I haven't played flashpoint though sadly so I cant compare the two...
