EA to aquire Bioware Studios
What is it with EA and buying out smaller game companies, forcing them to release shitty, unfinished games, and then closing them down because the game sucked? Bioware is one of my favourite companies.
EA blows.
EA blows.

Phail
I hate EA Just for closing westwood alone, those people were good, Did you know RA2 was made in 1 Year, because EA told them to hurry it, the game was good for a 1 year job, but a bit more time would of made it well simply better
EA buying out all these small companies is really getting me pissed...

EA wouldn't be doing customer support for bioware titles anyways.Sheekel wrote:Microsoft makes decent games. EA has a reputation for TERRIBLE customer service, they seem to have a "Hey, it compiles! Release it!" mentality.
And dude... Microsoft makes decent games sure, if you like Xbox360 and vista exclusive titles.

They're mostly true from what I hear from people who have worked for EA.Erom wrote:Then work them till they bleed for 3 years and drop them. Seriously, yeesh, maybe it's just internet rumor, but there are some terrible rumors about the work conditions there.
However, a job's a job, and it's a way to get into the industry and eventually work for someone interesting. At this point it's really either EA, one of the video casino machine makers, simulations, or beta testing that are open to fresh college graduates.
