I've only played it for an hour'ish thus far. I'm quite liking it - definetely a fairly unique kind of concept, and well executed.

Well, I wouldn't pay 50 bucks for portal alone... That being said, TF2 is an amazing multiplayer shooter, and the next episode in the HL2 series is nothing to squawk at either.

Portal is a very compelling and entertaining 3 some odd hours of gaming story line, depending how quickly you pick up the process of using the portal gun to solve puzzles, and when finished the main story the game is further extended by several challenge modes that really test your mastery of portal physics. Really, I love this game for how much it reminds me of KZ, but it still has alot of potential largely untapped. I think that's the biggest thing this game did for me, wake up a world of possibilities that I just hope and pray people start opening up in gaming.

I would have hoped for a bit more game length, but the thing is, an FPS game with only 1 gun kept me fully entertained for more than 3 hours, and I haven't even played with the challenge modes yet... HL2 couldn't have pulled off keeping me entertained for 3 hours with only the G-gun, the story and combat scenes were the guts of that game, but portal did it with no NPCs, very limited story line (you know you're trying to escape, and there are little treats and hints as to the environment your in otherwise, but it's still very unexplained), and 1 weapon, that really isn't even a weapon. It's really the type of thing, masterfully crafted, but mostly it just leaves you feeling like the surface of some amazing new potential in gaming has just been scratched.

Well, it certainly was short.

Hopefully mappers will come up with plenty of worthwhile content to extend its value a bit.

For what console is that game and, if it is for pc, where can I get it? Space bending sounds fun for me :)

You can get it on xbox360 and PC as part of the orange box. I would get the PC version as it looks better than on xbox360(if you have a decent PC, you don't need anything extreme, specs below), some reviews say the xbox360 frame rate is a tad low, you can get community mods and maps, and controls are better as its mouse and keyboard.

Recommended: Pentium 4 processor (3.0GHz, or better), 1GB RAM, DirectX® 9 level Graphics Card, Windows® Vista/XP/2000, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection
On PC you can get it via steam:

Portal is part of the Orange Box, which is probably the best value for money this year a least. It costs $45 (£20 or 35 euro).
