site: Header Logo replacement

Post by AF »

The issue:

The header logo could do with replacing, numerous people have commented on it.

The solution:

An existing logo can be used that can easily be used. It would be a simple drop in replacement with no other changes required.

Here is a comparison of the two, old on the left, new on the right:

And here is the new image:

For those out of the loop this is about the new site design.
And af you should also add in Neuralize his logo designs.

No, you are setting up a competition here. With that you are responsible to make it a fair one. Otherwise we end up with a agrument about his work later on. I don't like to have a competition now only to have a new competition in a few weeks. It would be a waste of available (developer) time.

Lets say I took your work without asking and submitted it to an international logo commission as the new logo for the olympics.

Neuralize cna submit his logo designs or launch his own logo competition btu right nwo the task at hand is which logo. Should another thread popup with neuralizes logo and oen fo these 2 logos then thats fine, we'll be moving into continuous development rather than entering the horrific stages fo logo competition whcih are guaranteed to become flamefests.

Remember, design competitions involving logos caused the vast majority fo major flamewars in this community in the earlier days. When they stopped, so did a lot of the flaming, and things calmed down and people talked about other topics. Flamefests of that magnitude become rare afterwards.
