Immediately after posting that list I started playing it again. It's like FFTA without the cuteness. I love SRPGs with lots of freedom. So definitely get it. Most "tactics" games are great, an exception might be "Onimusha Tactics" and "Yu Yu Hakusho - Tournament Tactics". Ninja Cop, I played that one and it was fun. I generally dislike platformers. Exceptions are Assault Suits Valken and Front Mission 2 but neither are for the GBA.
