i only have an ATI card now as my house blew up and spring is so utterly fucked on it (worked before the update) there are a huge list of isues
but mainly i get lines popping out of the commander instead of nanospray that dance around the whole screen :D
i cant however fix this at all or generate a crash dump so... nevermind. (also i have no interwebs etc to actually play

what?
your house blow up, because of a lightning?!
I wish u more luck in your future. And I(ich) wish that spring will not mainly improve on the side of nvidea. The graphic was fine before the last 0.75 release. I had at lastreflactive water and shadows I was happy...

well... happy for someone with spring and still a home (house) to play it in
best regards, best wishes Bonk

What about the other players... do u have unit shadows with your ATI and NVidea cards?
Is this a little problem, that only a few Spring-people have?

I see...
with a good and expensive nvidea graphic adapter there is still a way left to get my shadows back.

I don't know why, but the shadows work for me now. I had to reinstall my OS because of some hidden stumbling blocks in VISTA (never try to install Windows XP on a second primary partition AFTER installing Vista). Well, long story short: After switching back from Vista 64 bit to XP 32bit, the shadows reappered in Spring. I suppose it was some kind of driver issue...
