XTA 9 Alpha
This version is really looking good. The visual effects seem better than even than the last version of Nanoblobs. Also, the core commander is no longer wearing a skirt.

He is getting a re-texturing soon enough
http://spring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewtop ... &start=160
It is better than the old one by far but it still needs some work imo. Ive made a few requests now but got no results so far for the textures. Noruas will prolly end up doing it
As for the graphics, well there going to get better once the rest of my texture work gets used by Noruas (not that i'm piling up his work load
)
Also:
We will be releasing the final version with Quantums nuke
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6udIo5SmwWA However i only have permission to use this once C.A mod is done with and quantum gives me the go ahead.
I cant wait

If that is really so (I still can't believed they dared touching one of the most sacred very staple of TA), I will boycott XTA until the CorCom gets his kilt back.

The first thing I always did in a game of ota was turn off screen shakes.Noruas wrote:I think with the new explosions that give umph, we are missing screenshakes, we can do it with lua, and use it in modrules, but i do not know lua. If someone tell how to enable lua in the modrules, and use it, just write an exoskeleton for screen shaking, and i will fill in the numbers.
hmm
Arent some lua that are needed by mods on/offable by choice, if not, i was planing on it being very light... no where near as intense as OTA.
Infact, unless its a large explosion, i dont want the screen shaking when the explosion is off screen.
