ZOMG SNOW

Post by Quanto042 »

Its been four years since i've been back up in New England to enjoy a real winter. (Was in Oklahoma prior and hated every minute of it)

So far this year tho, there had been very little snow.

UNTIL NOW!!!

I'm very happy we have such a mild winter in germany... it was about 10 °C today and we've had snow for less than 5 days in total.

Give it another 30 to 50 years and we'll have the same climate as spain.

Our winter has been pretty mild as well actually. I remember back in 92-95 we could expect at least a foot by the end of november, but this winter, we didn't see any lasting snow until after the new year. And even then it was only about 6 cm. But now
omg.

Oh yeah the old days... 1 meter of snow, that was fun. Except that it was I who got the face rubbed in it by bullies... :(

Our winter has been insane! Any other people from colorado out there who can relate?

Seriously, its the most snow we've had since 1913 or something. In december, we got almost 3 feet where I live, and it still hasnt all melted. And its snowing again this afternoon. Crazy.

I thought New England just had an a crazy 8 feet snow fall a week or two ago, did you miss that?

I lived in Connecticut in 2004/2005, and they were some pretty bad winters. It seemed like once a week we would get a mandatory 2 feet of snow. After the first few snow falls you actually becomes sick of the snow, particularly when you have dig out your driveway and car every other day.

In Minnesota we've had a really wierd winter.

It was extremly warm and dry the entire winter, except then a while ago we went a week below 0 degrees Farenheight, and now it's normal termperature (10 degrees), but there's still very little snow.

Ahh... I wanna snow too! :(

In Brazil there is only one place where snows, but since this place is in the top of a 1 km tall mountains chain and it snows VERY rarely I never say snow with my own eyes... :P

I'll probably have to do this all over agian tomorrow >_<

You don't know winter until you lose your car for 4 months.

In your driveway.

I love living in Alberta, near the rockies. We get our winter in one week long chunks, then we get a Chinook and it all melts away while we have a relatively balmy 10 degrees C.

I live in California, so one day I was walking home at 9 in the morning and I see this wet patch...and I walk over it and WHAM. Right to the ground. I sit up and say, "ICE! This is Californai! Ice ain't not suppose to no exsist around here."

Once my brains had unscrambled, I realized that I shoulden't walk into the shade with ice all over the ground.
