Some question

Post by Mag1cWalker »

Hi i have some quick question

1. How to setup boxes?

2. Is there any way to change GUI?

3. How to turn on that list of players with pings and CPU usage in right down corner of game screen?

If you're talking about deployment boxes prior to game launch, that's shift-click-drag.
2. Is there any way to change GUI?
In-game, only the minimap can be changed. However, you can go and dabble in LuaGUI for a bit, but I don't know how that works.

I don't know, I'm missing it myself in the latest release.....

1) Drag a square in the minimap while keeping shift pressed. You can find other useful tips by pressing the "Help" button in the lobby.

2) Yes, but you'd better wait for the next version before tweaking it, the GUI will be improved a lot.

3) Type ".info".

edit: Heh, no reply for more than half an hour then three people answer at the same time.

1) In the lobby, Start position -> Choose in game. Then shift+drag on the minimap to make boxes. Point at a box and press delete to erase a box.

3) Type /info on the in game chat (optionally followed with a number to determine sorting order).

EDIT Bah I'm slow

ShowPlayerInfo=[int] in your settings file.

Disabled= 0,
Allies = 1,
TeamID = 2,
PlayerName= 3,
PlayerCPU= 4,
PlayerPing= 5

It's under

Code: Select all

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SJ\Spring\]
I found it by opening AF's nanospray file

Here is the thread that explains it all.
the .info player status registry bug, and where your spring config/settings are stored.
http://taspring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewt ... light=info

I never found that thread because i was just looking for where the windows settings were stored, i was not looking for a bug.
