BA4.41 Countermeasure System

Can anyone tell me what the "Intrusion Countermeasure System" does? I'm rather mystified as to it's purpose.

It detects units which are cloaked and stealthed within a certain radius through drawing seismic signatures upon the map.

Thanks! My tests were just with static cloaked units. But once I started moving them, yeah I saw the seismic signatures. I also noticed that none of the guns fired at the signatures on the ground. Never the less, it's good to know about that, thanks!

That's because the seismic signatures are no radar blips. You'll have to fire at them manually using the attack command.

I like it the way it is. This way it's still not foolproof. You can, for instance, make a feint towards his south while a spy comes in on the east, diverting his attention from the blip.
