Hi !
I've got a really strange problem :
I'm running spring 0.74b1 on gentoo linux, and when playing an online game, I always get desynced after a short time (maybe 1 min).
I happens whith every mod, and regardless of the other's players OS, with the svn install from trunk (latest) or from 0.74b1/. It seems not to be a connection problem : I play on a lan and I sniffed a bit, all is ok (no packet loss or corruption).
But what's really strange is this : I tried running a binarie compiled by a friend who has approximately the same hardware, and same OS (gentoo linux), and I also used his data-files : Same problem for me, works perfectly for him. Moerover we are on the same lan, and on the same switch.
Then I tried to build with the dsyncdebbuger option (as describe in the file "howtodsyncdebug" included in the sources), but it's not working : when the first sync error occurs, the game pauses and that's all.
Anyone have an idea ? How can I use the sync debugger ?
thanks
PS : when I use wine to run the windows version, I've got the problem describded in this post : taspring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=8238 (I'm not allowed to post links)
Weird sync problem

gcc is : gcc (GCC) 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r1)
I am sure that springdata is ok, as is .springrc because as I said, I tried with exactly the same install (same binarie, same data-files, same springrc) as a friend who has the same system as mine, and it's working for him.
Since we have the same connection I asume it comes from a difference in the libraires I have and the one he haves or maybe the kernel config. But I can't find what.
anyway :

I am also having a weird sync problem. It lets me play and I can't see anything wrong but all throughout the game it gives me these stupid meaningless error messages saying stuff like " sync error 134 Y " and they are always different, and very annoying. It also says I'm missing an OpenGL file (w/e the heck that is) I'm not sure if this is related.

Ok, after re-installing spring I continue to have this problem and apparently i can't see the enemies units and the enemy can't see my units. we were literally on top of e/o and had no clue where the other person was. So either this is some freaky connection problem, or a full-fledged bug. We were playing on AA mod ver. 2.23.
