Graphic glitches in trunk svn?

Post by keithjr »

I am trying out the latest svn (well, however recent 2142 is) and I'm having some trouble.

I cleared out all of the files from my datadir of choice, and then copied all the files from the taspring-linux-data-0.72b1 archive into it. Finally, I copied the files from trunk/game into the datadir as well.

Now, when I enter the game, all the smoke looks like squares, and lasers are invisible. Am I missing something here? I tried copying the linux-data files back over the datadir in case the sequence was backwards, but this doesn't solve the problem either.

Anybody have any idea(s)?

Ok I'm sorry I found this is the Bugs forum, but there's no answer there either (at least, I followed the answer as far as I can tell). The reason I posted here was because I thought the linux data archive was the problem.

Are the taspring-linux-data-0.72b1 files conflicting with the 0.73 stuff in the SVN? Perhaps we should put together an archive along the lines of taspring-linux-data-0.73b1.
