Those Mon Calimari are really cool looking...expect I hate and despite EVERY SINGLE Mon Calimari I see, so its nothing against your models.

Also the sheild generator looks a bit different from the one in the movie.

Oh wait...thats just the power generator. Never mind.

The wooki looks good too, by the way.

Honestly I'm not surprised Vassago disappeared, he was too talented to stick around a free project for long @_@

Just wanted to throw my two bits in and say that's a really interesting look for Mon Cal; only thing i would say is that that almost-cartoonish texturing style carries over to the rest of the infantry.

I don't think it is particularly cartoonish, personally, but I suppose it's a matter of opinion. Dreadus is retexturing all of our infantry, so the style will be consistent.

Keep an eye out for some upcoming SWS news, in the next week or so.

Just letting you know we're not dead ;)

AT-XT, replacing the ATRT's role in the barracks. It's likely to have a mortar weapon, for infantry support.

The ATRT will subsequently be moved into the walker lab and fill the ATAV's role. The ATAV was ugly, so it's being put out of it's misery.

Pretty nice, though why are those guns on top pointing up?

Look too small to be artillery....

Are you gonna give it a little smoothing too? :-)

Yeah the guns seem a bit small to be mortars but the design kicks ass as usual.

Lack of smoothing is Rhino's fault.

Here is my reference source:

I might make the guns a bit bigger/fatter, seeing as that seems to be common criticism.

I also made up the majority of the chassis.

We have a private forum for internal balance discussion;

However, we'd love to hear your opinions, either

In this thread here at Spring

or

At our own dedicated forum at TA Universe

Note that it's been a while since we released 1.0, and many of the issues with the last pack (particularly the droids) have since been solved. Still, your comments are welcome.

Yup, SWS would like to welcome a number of new staff members, all of whom will be making their presence known shortly, either with fantastic art work such as Maelstrom here has cooked up, or through some scripting magic!

Keep your ears open for news of our next release, and if you have any skills you could offer us - particularly by way of UVmapping and texturing, we are recruiting!

Not really art or modeling, but something fun nonetheless.

>_> <_<

Stormtrooper one: *crrshk* "What was that?"
Stormtrooper two: "it sounds like Thriller, sir"
Stormtrooper one: "Emporer's standing orders require 'breaking it down'"
Stormtrooper two: "Acknowledged, commencing operation 'get jiggy wit' it'"
