1. Worms chomp units to bits.
2. Worms come in 4 different sizes.
3. Worms find their way to their prey better.
4. All variables controlling number of worms and when they spawn are exposed as one map option, Aggression.
5. Worms do not eat commanders by default (but there is a map option to do so).
6. Worms show up on radar as any other unit does, but with an additional flashing warning if a new worm is sighted, or if a worm is eating your units.
7. The worm gadget and widgetry should drop into any map now, all that needs to change is wormconfig/wormconfig.lua, which configures in which terrain types the worm can spawn and move.
7. Buildings sink into the sand when any part of their footprint is on it, and the GUI that warns about building on sand shows which parts of the footprint are on sand.
8. The rock has the same unit movement speed multiplier as the sand.
9. By default, wrecks no longer sink into the sand (but there is a map option for it).
