1944 next release when?

Hi

I am only playing 1944 for the time beeing. It is a fantastic mod. When is the next release? and does anybody know a good AI to use with spring.
I am often searching the lobby for 1944 mp games.. but they are hard to find.. So a AI that know what it is doing would be handy to have..

One thing that you should do is idle in #aata, oftentimes there are people there who would be more than happy to play a game of 1944.

That goes for all of you.

On a related point... perhaps we should shift official 1944 chat operations to #1944?

RAI works fairly well without any setup.

#1944 is registered to someone else (a clan of S44 players). But yes, it would perhaps be ideal to reclaim it.

RAI does not work well for me. It spams hq guards and some other units, many enginers.. I have beaten 4, could beat 15 I think.

Any better then RAI, or does anybody have a AI setup?

AAI plays it also, but niether play it well at all. youd do better to make an NTAI profile, NTAI would play this very well indeed. id make one myself but not much point with the new version round the corner

i supplied links to a working config and a changed b3h modfile to make aai play a bit smarter earlier in the thread (p22 i think)

*Global
-Riflemen and SMG Troopers can no longer build flags.
-maxslope of Infantry moveclass changed to 35, to prevent infantry from climbing up almost vertical walls.

*Germany
-R117 Obercommando Bunker can no longer be built.
*edit* thought i might mention that unless an AAI bot playing as teh us starts in the top of the map, it will have problems with units getting stuck in the barracks.

Thank you for sharing your AI AAI work. It makes singel player more fun! But I dont see RAI work any better with this file.
