Yeah I use a pihole all the time. I have it on my raspberry pi and I point all devices to use it as dns server (unfortunately my router cannot be set up with external dns server).
It works great. Cuts off all youtube ads that nowadays also interrupt songs.

Re: Disabling sensor calculations
No. Knorke actually tried this with his darkroom map. There is still something in the engine that targets enemy units. Not sure what.

Re: 8 players to 16 players limit (and back)
What's the problem? Autohosts can restrict games to a certain number of players.

Re: [misc] enforcment of spring >= 104.0 for autohosts with botflag
Many gamedevs feel that there is no two-way communication between engine devs and gamedevs. Don't just make breaking changes to the engine and expect that everything will be patched downstream: first ask what will be okay and anchor the breaking changes before you apply them. Today the two groups ar...

Why attach the script as a jpeg? Attach the code as t̶e̶x̶t̶ png: png is better for things like raster graphics where you have few colors.

Re: Source code and issue tracker
Yeah many of the widgets have not been updated for newer spring, because the last stable version is still 98.0. There is a test version that uses spring 103 and 104, but it has problems with wrecks because of some unnecessary changes of how the unitscript works in the engine.

Re: Upcoming lobby server updates
I think the minimum version should be game-specific. i understand that, but we need to get rid of unsupported spring versions. spring development needs more current versions to be used. We have still some autohosts which use spring 98.0/100.0/101.0/103.0 :( Yes, because xta players don't see any be...

Just keep in mind that player = team and team = ally in spring parlance. I know it's confusing but that's how it is.

Re: Spec Cheat Detector via inverse mouse movement relationship
If the spectator only moves their mouse when the player does not, and visa-versa, then there is a very high likely hood of twin-box spec cheating. --- Even after 1 game, the likely hood that two people were moving and not moving (inversely) simultaneously, is near impossible. After 5 games, it is i...

Re: Autohosts stuck in update loop
All your autohost instances have auto restart for update disabled (autoRestartForUpdate set to "off") which means none of them will be able to actually update unless you restart them manually. But I guess you just did that recently to workaround your auto-update loop. Yes. And also, I put...
