Re: Shogun Total War 2 (demo)
Well i started with the guys on top on very hard and so far im shredding the AI but i read the art of war so no wonder XD Hrmm, yes, reading a 2500 year old book magically makes you a strategic genius. ~~ again, is the AI in shogun better? does the game represent a geniune challenge? on the highest...

Re: Shogun Total War 2 (demo)
I managed a decent start with Takeda - the trick was to make the right choices for allies. Hojo and Uesugi declared war on me (along with some of their minor allies), but two of my allies also joined the war, and actually helped! We managed to completely crush Hojo in a few turns with me and my ally...

Re: Shogun Total War 2 (demo)
I found shimazu quite easy so far (playing on hard though, there's v.hard and legendary). Katana samurai you get at start are awesome at capturing and defending castles and there's lots of trade resources on the tiny islands nearby which generate ridiculous income. I'm a bit weary of expanding too f...

Re: U.N. okays military action on Libya
Tbh I'm just suprised the UN actually agreed on something and took action... I wonder what the actual political intrests in this were (purely humanitarian? I doubt it), and what strings did France et al pull to get this done. Wikileaks go go go!

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Haha DMMM, that brings memories. I sometimes even loaded a save game just to play a nice battle scene again. Too bad the game was just a linear story, like reading a book. I dare not even think how a game with atmosphere and world like morrowind could be like with a truly fun combat system like DMMM.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Maybe they will make combat controls better? Mmh, morrowind melee was a joke. Oblivion was a bit better, but still worse than some decade old titles imo. Morrowind had way better travel system though. I hope they bring back levitation, mark/recall and the pay-for-fast-travel. Or come up with someth...

Trailers don't really tell much (except perhaps the scale of the marketing budget ). Looking forward to a demo or "WTF is ?" style real impressions... Anyone tried dragon age 2 demo?

Such as? Haven't played vanilla over internet, but FFH2 was very stable. Sadly rife is a bit unstable atm, and I don't like the balance (or imbalance) of MoM.Gota wrote:multiplayer has serious gameplay problems though.

Re: Very interesting
Both mini series, even though include a lot of material and are very interesting are still simplistic. There is no word about the influence of industrialists and corporations over the decision making of western politicians, for example. +1 There's also no mention on the effects of media on "ne...

Re: I came!
I found all call of duty SP scenes since CoD 1 extremely boring. Taking cover behind whatever happens to be near and taking potshots at enemies also behind cover. It would be fine if the fuckers didn't respawn every time you turn your head. There is no indicator wheather they will ever cease coming,...
