And yeeeees, headcrabs that actually convert people! One of the few things that saddens me about HL2 is how that doesn't happen :(

Everything that happens should be "there." ie should there ever be a slow firing cruise missle thing (example) it will not have a reload progress bar. Instead it will have a reload animation. Whilst this is a nice idea... you might want to lay off on the 'animate everything' until you've ...

To be fair, having to zoom in on an individual target to aim for the treads / turret / whatever would be a bit of a bitch in large-scale engagements anyway; better implemented as a 'aim for turret / body' option in the attacking unit (kinda like hold fire and movestates etc) I'd've thought. Would it be possible to make an exporter script or say, 3ds max, that generates a text file with all the rotation information of the keyframes in max? Then you could just paste that into the code for the unit. Then again, I'm no programmer, so I don't know how hard that would be, or if its possible...

It's... detailed KaiserJ, but it's kinda lacking any large landmarks (ie doors, sensor arrays, large factory chimney whatsits etc) to make it clear what the structure is for. A lot of the detail falls to noise because we can't tell what it is; it's at the moment a large collection of shapes.
