Re: Current issues with 0.96 and a couple of others?
1) Use http://www.pastebin.com. 2) You are using Spring 96.0, which is currently live, with BA V7.19, which is 3 years and 81 version numbers out of date. Update your BA to the latest (V8.00, available here: http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=32244) and you should be fine. Thank yo...

Re: Current issues with 0.96 and a couple of others?
go to edit -> preferences -> spring and "add new", then tell your lobby where to find the unitsync.dll file that sits next to your spring.exe file. Ok, followed those directions and still no maps or games showing up even after hitting the "reload" button? The next log file is: U...

Re: Current issues with 0.96 and a couple of others?
You haven't even told us which lobby you are using, and even then, without seeing examples of the files that you've created along with your lobby config files or an infolog, I doubt anyone will be able to work that out for you, or fix whatever problems your browser causes. In general, downloading g...

Re: Current issues with 0.96 and a couple of others?
Ok, but what's causing the the lobby to NOT pick up any maps or games, even those manually pasted to the games & maps folders (and they are the .sdz /.sd7 files)?
Thanks!

Re: Current issues with 0.96 and a couple of others?
Ok, I'll try renaming the .zip's to the .sdz / .sd7 and see if that does it, thanks! But first open the zip file and see it doesn't contain any maps. It's very unusual for anyone to distribute a map file, a .sdz or .sd7 file, as a .zip file. It's more logical to pack several files into one zip arch...

Re: Current issues with 0.96 and a couple of others?
1. Tell us what folder you think is the appropriate folder. 2. If you download games using the lobby they typically go into a "pool" (instead of sdz/sd7) - the point of this is that they can be updated incrementally when a new version is released, wtihout having to download a whole new sd...

Current issues with 0.96 and a couple of others?

Older games / mods that don't like the latest spring?
Hi all, Lets say that several of us really like an older game or mod of that game and it is no longer being maintained / abandon. Now lets suppose that this older game / mod seems to not like the latest ver of spring. Is it possible to run older versions of spring in the new lobby? Thanks! Capt. Fra...

Re: Spring crash with"File not found: objects3d/6x6e.3do" error?
that might be a mod issue? Seems to happen more frequently in Advanced B/A but also in others as well? I was thinking maybe a 3D video issue but I realy don't know for sure. Does any one know of a Advanced B/A fourm or site? I'm not even sure who / how to contact the author of the Advanced Balanced...
