Spring RTS Engine

Ok, i've had a closer look at spring and it's projects, overall i find it too low level and dated. i'm retired and my game project is large so i'll need a higher level tool to take away the work load, not add to it! :) The amount of work to turn Spring into a Ancient warfare engine seems far too muc...
