Re: why is the default mouse camera control inverted?
Also the mouse wheel zoom was inverted when I first played spring. I don't know if that default was fixed yet either.

Re: Supreme annihilation tutorial videos
Video's are the best format for this because it shows how the interface reacts to the player. Also, zoom in like 50% more when you can. Make things really big, because youtube quality is crap :).

Re: Balanced Annihilation V7.19
Mavs are great as they are, 2-3 with good micro can stave off wave after wave of T1 units.

Re: Balanced Annihilation V7.18
Really I think you should just remove the ability of transports from picking up enemy units. It will solve a lot of problems.
As for bladewings, give them a minor nerf in cost, or buildtime, see how it goes, rebalance if still not working well.

Re: Balanced Annihilation V7.16
I'd rather see a proper fix for the wait/reload exploit than an increase in reload times.

Re: BA to SA guide.
Tried 10.8 yet? It fixed it for me, though I found if I turned 3d trees off, it crashes as well in 0.82.4.
What error are you getting?

Further to fix #2, upgrade to 10.8 drivers. That fixed it for me.

Read both posts. Essentially back up the ba.lua file in the path listed and delete the original each time (it's auto regenerated).

Re: Spring crashes while loading any mod
You said it worked once, then it didn't work again. This bug is probably the problem: http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=443989#p443989 If you're playing BA, backup then delete the Spring\LuaUI\Config\BA.lua file. If another mod, do the same with the appropriate config file. It should work.

Problem with voice meetings is simply it's hard to keep a record of what was discussed for later review.

Re: crahed 82.3 : first game ok, nexts not oks..
Different drivers might work. This also works: http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=443989#p443989 if you're using BA, or select the appropriate file for whatever mod you're running. Make a backup copy of the file before deleting it just in case you need it, but it should make a complete new o...

Re: Inverted mouse wheel zoom
Scrolling worked as expected for me with the - in the box (I didn't change it from previous versions though).
Also the default needs to be inverted, every other game/image program that uses scroll to zoom has scroll up = in, and down = out.

Re: Crash due to access violation when creating unit textures
Try this: http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.ph ... 94#p443994 (if you're trying to run ba 7.14)
Also, are those the full info logs? They seem kind of short and possibly cut off.

Re: Game crash - infolog
So If I delete Spring\LuaUI\Config\BA.lua in a fresh install of spring (after it's started at least once) it'll start up normally, albeit with the bad textures from the driver problem, but it's clearly two separate problems now.

Re: Game crash - infolog
So I had a hunch and I tested it. Installed spring into a new directory and installed one map and ba 7.14 and it started up in single player fine with one bot. I think there are actually two problems, they might be related but they might not. So the textures were off again (10.7 (agp hotfix version ...

Re: Game crash - infolog
I'm getting the same problem after updating with the same message in the info log about drivers. I tried with the 10.4 drivers (worked with previous stable version) and they didn't work with 0.82.2. I updated to the 10.7 as they fix the problems the 10.5 and 10.6 drivers had with urban terror and ho...

Re: Auto-cloak built units
how about arm cloak-able fusions auto cloak when built? as i only ever make them when i want it to be invisible. or will that upset pr0s who make them and never cloak them unless they see enemy scouts and dont cloak untill i have already scouted it? They take _lot_ of E to cloak. I'd rather have an...

Yes, as the original reply said, it's your drivers.
10.6 and 10.5 have issues with textures in spring (and quake 3 and probably others..).
Lots of people have had to downgrade to 10.4
