The problem with scons is that it does not import the shell enviroment and therefore you have to modify the Sconstruct file to import it. BUT that does not work. At least not with the Spring Sconstruct (but that may be due to the incomplete windows support). Also the doc of scons seems to be incompl...

I can confirm it on Cometcatcher. The com builds a mex and a solar and then stops.
Here is the (probably) the reason for it :

[00:37] nearest metal patch returned bad
[00:37] Exception, UnitIdle

If you enable cheats before it has finished its first building everything runs fine.

Alantai is just ignoring these faulty coords in the newer versions. At least (without looking at the old versions) thats the only difference in the attack codes i think.

Not exactly.

The problem is this

G->cb->GetUnitPos(enemy);

in Chaser.cpp giving no coords (ZeroVector) to the Ai. So it never knows where you are.

I just tried beta7 on 4b_facility. NTAI was core and just building mexes and not building any form of energy generating objects (except for a mini fusion after 40 minutes). And it did not attack in any form, but was happy building units until reaching the unit limit. Also it never build any VecPlant...

This is a replay, which crashes Spring and/or your system at its end. Perhaps some dev will find it helpfull for debugging purposes.

Also it shows some bugs (?) with AA (all LRPCs not being able to fire for some time).

Units flying / off map

A nuke was exploding in the middle of a group of sumos, pushing them off the map and one off them flying with high-speed into the air. Then the client crashed.

Could it be that units beiing off map or at insane hights make the client crash?

And those crashes at creating unit texture is probably due to the files i mentioned before, Works now, except shift-esc won't let me exit the game anymore. And the usage of the minimap is a bit troublesome : LMB selects units on the minimap and repositions the camera. The camera should be set by RM...
