i got the same freaking error here. i don't know if error are cursors or shadows. all i know i cannot open spring, not even test one single player. i already tried everything, compatibility modes, screen resolutions, disable shadows and all pretty stuff on gfxs. i couldn't downgrade to any winvista ...
