My computers been through a few formats setting up my new raid drive etc etc and now I can't load OSX86 (won't see my drives) I'll try and get another OSX machine to start compiling on again to finish my build of ...

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
this is without any offence to anyone on the SL team, but OSX support right now... is buggy at best. I highly recommend QTlobby for the time being, as everything works 100% of the time. SL kept booting me out of games, crashing when I was auto-downloading etc etc I don't know if it's how I compiled ...

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
Guys, I am SO close to having a OSX .app ready for release. I've just got to make sure all the dylibs reference each other from within the actual app bundle. My OSX install has gone belly up after filddling with a few things, but I should be back in operation shortly! I must give special thanks to B...

Re: QtLobby v1.0alpha released
All I can say is This is the best lobby software for MacOSX yet. Very stable (not a single crash in the 3+hrs I was online last night), easy to use interface. Look out for a Mac OSX DMG of this soon :) Also, do the creators mind if I bundle this with Spring for OSX? I have worked out what dylibs I n...

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
not to say anything bad about springlobby but QT lobby is MUCH better for OSX online purposes, no crashing when joining games. Much easier to compile too :) I will add to the spring wiki for OSX! [edit] Very close to a .dmg release of 0.80.4 + Qtlobby The only thing that I can't get working properly...

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
I have updated the MacOSX wiki, please feel free to add to it. Keeping in mind I have to add in all the minor source code changes so that it works :) also here is one of the changes I made, is it possible to merge this into the main source for the next release? namespace proc { #if defined(__GNUC__)...

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
Belmakor - Try this to get your unitsync library working with Springlobby run Springlobby from the terminal passing the command -nc (./springlobby -nc) then point springlobby to the libunitsync.dylib and it shouldn't throw errors at you (and in the terminal window it will display all the unitsync li...

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
On that note, by a sad twist of fate I am working again, so my progress on this might be a bit slower than before (as I won't be able to pull my 4am debugging sessions now :p) adso, Regardless of how much time you get in the next little while, can you *please* make your number 1 priority documentin...

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
Spring still gets focus even as a command line app. However, I still think for a proper release, we should be compiling it as an .app bundle. I would do it, but my programming skills are still quite meager, and I'm not too sure how to link everything up in Xcode to do it. On that note, by a sad twis...

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
I have a similar problem. I tried to make a bundle and that worked when it was launched directly. But, when launched from a springlobby, only an error dialog appeared and said. Fatal Error boost::bad_any_cast: failed conversion using boost::any_cast After some examine, it turned out that it crashes...

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
funniest part is, I had less compile errors with 0.80 than I did with the previous build :) [edit] I just need to sort out Springlobby actually loading my libunitsync.dylib and I'm all set to try this out online! Actually, could someone help me here? I've got libunitsync.dylib and if I try pointing ...

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
hey guys, couldn't stay away at my mates place :p remembered an easy way for commandline apps to get focus, just fakes an app bundle with a script launcher :) i'll sort it out and test out spring lobby when I get home :D still would like to solve the mystery of spring not working once compiled? can ...

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
springlobby compiled also
when you run the app, it doesn't allow you to focus on the program, so it's unusable... attached is just a screenshot of it running :)
alright, I'm out for the next couple of days!
hopefully there is more to see when I return!

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
In float3.h:36, change #ifdef _MSC_VER to #if defined(_MSC_VER) || defined(__APPLE__) In float3.cpp:24, change #ifdef _MSC_VER to #if defined(_MSC_VER) || defined(__APPLE__) I think that will get rid of all the 'float3::' undefined references. If it does, let me know, then I'll commit this change. ...

Re: Mac OS X General Release for 0.80
However, now mainwindow.cpp is throwing out heaps of build errors It's only one error I see. The problem seems to be you have a wxWidgets build of the 2.6 series, but you need 2.8.x (where 2.8.10 ist latest). I have downloaded and compiled and linked all the 2.8.10 libraries, unless there is a vers...
