"Don't have an account? Click here to register" works but needs proper colors.

It is probably too wide. Consider making the text fields smaller, with more padding on the left and right.

Re: installing spring on mint 19

that's an issue with your system libcurl being different than the one spring is compiled with; nothing to do with nvidia and abma's solution should work

It's getting better but register should not be a button or should be done differently

Video: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/281981683##
Content: A bit of a slow start as I was waking up with some meta-programming  , but I did manage to create something more presentable in the end, by actually using a very hacky version of my vector API to set the heightmap.

Re: New and with a question

Voxel games would be pretty difficult to do with SpringRTS. The engine is open source so anything is technically possible, but this like this are unrealistic for novice devs

Re: Springlobby connect window improvements

Before we discuss this further, did you consult any existing login forms for games/sites? I'd look at Steam login for one. Generally this isn't something you need to be very creative at. You made a few images, but i think it's best to talk about just one (universal) version, so I'll look in the firs...

Best not to give your opinion on development if you're not a dev yourself, it can just annoy people.

Also get rid of the borders within the form, it hampers readability and just looks far busier than it should be

Re: Springlobby connect window improvements

This is really badly designed. Have you not logged in to a site in recent years? So first off, fix the order of things. Email, username, password. Remove crazy options like guest login, pw gen, code request (?) Put things below with smaller font. (Checboxes). Terms of the server should be a pop-up t...

Re: ValidAIs.lua

It's an open source project and you are completely responsible for everything your game uses: lobby client, server, engine, infra.
If you delegate any of this responsibility to other people you cannot complain if things aren't perfect

Try adding fbo = true, like local ssmfTexInfo = gl.TextureInfo("$ssmf_emission") ssmfEmissionTexNew = gl.CreateTexture(ssmfTexInfo.xsize, ssmfTexInfo.ysize, { border = false, min_filter = GL.NEAREST, mag_filter = GL.NEAREST, wrap_s = GL.CLAMP_TO_EDGE, wrap_t = GL.CLAMP_TO_EDGE, fbo = true,...

Re: Recent engines do not work on Manjaro/Arch Linux.

New Ubuntu also uses new libcurl. It's clear to me this should be distributed. Asking users to install *any* libcurl is a barrier.

I tried to make it statically compile but I failed. I'll try again later.

Re: Add a new rule for game hosting: all non-private rooms must have content that can be auto-dl from SF, rapid or build

Hey. Silentwings' idea was mostly about the engine. I see many mentions of rapid here, are we talking about the same thing? As far as public/official hosts go, they should most probably offer downloadable engines. Generally I'm not super in favor of this idea anyway, because it's bound to introduce ...

Re: [engine] 6000 bug reports

Hey Pics, for what is mostly an administrative tool, UX (shiny) matters. You want people to report and understand the state of the project? Why not use the best tools there are? PS: I just posted this as a random comment, I don't think it's a pressing matter - it's just that most people might not be...

Similarly there's a vulkan2molten. This is a non-issue imo.
