Spring RTS Engine

Spring Downloader..... where can I find that? Is it part of SpringLobby? I saw a Start Menu shortcut 'Download Content' but its just a web shortcut to SpringFiles.... ....I remember seeing instructions that the Spring Installer has a choice of Maps to download, but I didn't have this in my Installer...

I'm new here too... was wondering about maps, spotted this thread... Then there's not much instructions on how to get maps or mods. It doesn't even tell us it's compulsory.
