I have the same issue, but i've downloaded every sdz i can for spring! Not sure what to do, I'm going to try to download OTAcontent.sdz now and see what happens.

If your old version is so old that it hadn't a springsettings.exe, you're better off deleting it and installing a fresh new version than trying to mix and match your old and new Spring. What Spring mods/games do you play btw? Ah ... don't have many atm, got 1944 the other day, that was pretty cool ...
