That worked for me!! I just enabled Draw smooth points and solved my problem!

I want to add something, when the GUI disappears if you press SHIFT again it comes back, but after a while this "trick" doesnt work and it's impossible to play....

Hi, I'm usung Ubuntu 8.04 with an ATI card and i've exactly the same problem as you with the damn SHIFT key, I tested it with all graphic options at minimum, diferent driver, maps, mod, etc.. and nothing works, always happens as you mention, everything disappears except the map and minimap. Hope sbd...
