I think, mainly... it's that newbies use crappy tools. They're using pirated versions of 3DS 5.x or whatever, which had really terrible uvmapping tools. Go get Uvmapper Classic. It's free. It doesn't suck. It's easy to use. And it has instructions! I am getting veeeeeeeery tired of repeating myself...

It's no UV-mapping that you are doing either, its probably planar mapping.

I tryed take Unit (with animation, 20 frames) - from "3DMax 7"
and put in "3D Builder"

All right, not problem.
